Most blood tests are taken on an empty stomach (8–12 hours fasting)

Avoid alcohol and intense physical activity for 24 hours before testing

Hormone blood tests are taken on specific cycle days – the doctor will advise at booking

Urinalysis: first morning midstream urine sample

It is recommended to drink enough clean water the day before (except for specific tests)

A passport or other identity document is required for testing. For minors – documents of parents or guardians. A doctor's referral is not mandatory – tests can be ordered independently.
