AcuPulse CO₂ by Lumenis is the gold standard for laser skin resurfacing, using fractional and ablative CO₂ laser modes (10,600 nm). It is the most effective non-surgical method for deep correction of wrinkles, post-acne scars and pigmentation – where RF and HIFU device procedures deliver limited results. The AcuPulse CO₂ laser removes micro-columns of tissue, triggering an intense regeneration process. New skin forms more evenly, with improved firmness and texture. CO₂ laser resurfacing is effective for: wrinkles (superficial and deep), post-acne scars (including ice-pick and rolling scars), hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, stretch marks and hypertrophic scars, rejuvenation of the décolletage and hands. Fractional mode is relatively comfortable after topical anaesthetic application. Full ablative mode requires deeper anaesthesia and is more intense. The doctor will select optimal pain management.
