To ensure the procedure goes smoothly, you should prepare thoroughly: - 2–4 weeks in advance: Stop taking antibiotics, retinoids and any photosensitising medications completely. - 10–14 days beforehand: Avoid using sunbeds and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight without sun cream. - 3–4 days beforehand: Stop using alcohol-based products and creams that increase skin sensitivity. - 1–2 days beforehand: Shave the hair thoroughly with a razor in the area to be treated. To secure the results and prevent irritation, follow these basic rules: for the first 3–5 days, avoid heat treatments, and for 7–14 days, protect your skin from the sun and aggressive cosmetics. For skincare, use light, soothing products without alcohol and fragrances (such as Panthenol or Bepanthen). If the treated areas are exposed, apply sunscreen with a protection factor of at least SPF 30–50 before going outside. It is strictly contraindicated: - Avoid visiting baths, saunas, hot tubs, and pools with chlorinated water for 3–5 days after the procedure. - Do not pluck regrowing hairs with tweezers, use wax, sugaring, or epilators between sessions. - Avoid sunbathing and visiting tanning beds for 7–14 days to prevent the appearance of pigmentation spots. - Do not use scrubs, peels, alcoholic lotions, or deodorants in the treated area for 2–3 days. - Intensive workouts that cause excessive sweating may exacerbate skin irritation. Refrain from them for the first 1–2 days after the procedure. Between Splendor X hair removal sessions, regrowing hairs can only be shaved or carefully trimmed with a trimmer. Approximately 1–2 weeks after the procedure, the natural shedding of destroyed hair follicles begins.

What happens after laser hair removal using the Splendor X device: - Session 1. Within 7–14 days of the first treatment, 20–30 per cent of the hair (specifically, the hairs that were in the active growth phase) falls out. The remaining hair begins to grow more slowly, and its quantity is noticeably reduced. - Session 3. After the third treatment, hair density is reduced by 50–70 per cent. The regrowing hair becomes significantly finer, lighter in colour and softer. Skin irritation disappears, and the time between shaves increases to several weeks. - After the full course. After 6–10 sessions, 80–90 per cent of unwanted hair can be removed. The remaining stray hairs become downy and virtually invisible. The skin becomes smooth, and the problem of ingrown hairs disappears. The effect lasts from several months to several years, depending on individual characteristics. - Maintaining the results. To maintain perfectly smooth skin after completing the course, 1–2 maintenance sessions per year are usually required. Important! After 2–3 treatments, ‘dormant’ hair follicles may become active, which may give the impression that the hair has started to grow back. This is a normal part of the laser hair removal process using the Splendor X system and is resolved with subsequent sessions.
